The Adelaide 36ers are delighted to announce that games against last season’s grand finalist Wollongong Hawks are selling well.

The 36ers play the Hawks in their traditional match in Whyalla on September 17 and then play again on September 19 at Starplex, Gawler.

The 36ers have continued to take the game to the people this season and the sold out games are reflecting the many school visits and clinics that the team have been involved with.

The hard work of local, Trevor Castle in Whyalla, to ensure the Hood Sweeney Challenge is successful again has been greatly appreciated by the club. The Hawks will be suiting former 36er Oscar Forman for the first time.

Former 36ers great Kevin Brooks has shown that his passion for basketball and everything 36ers is undying by promoting the 36ers game locally in Gawler

The 36ers will also play the Townsville Crocodiles featuring home town favourite Luke Schenscher at the Dome on Thursday September 9th. They rematch the following night in Mount Barker on Friday September 10th.

This match up will be the first opportunity for basketball fans to see the new look 36ers first hand against a quality full strength opposition.

It will also be the first time that import Craig Winder will face his Townsville counterpart Will Blaylock since the D League grand final in the USA.

Available tickets to the Crocodiles game are from $10 and kids under 15 free to the Dome match. Tickets are available through the club on 1300 Sixers or www.proticket.com.au

The Mt Barker game cost is Adults $12 , Children $6, Family $25 and tickets are only available at the door on game night.
