At halftime at this Sunday’s game, our General Manager Katie Tomlinson will bravely shave off her luscious locks to raise money for the Leukemia Foundation as a part of the World’s Greatest Shave.

In Katie’s own words:

“For those of you saying why, why, why, you crazy woman? My brother lost all his hair to cancer a few months before the Blaze played their first ever game ...so shaving my head is just my way of saying ‘I miss you Eric’”.

Katie will be the first of the Blaze group to shave her head, with Tom Garlepp, Chris Goulding, Stephen Hoare, Will Hudson, Team Manager Big Joe, Assistant Team Manager Junior and Assistant Coach Mick Conlon all signed up to either shave hair, legs, beard or dye their hair as a part of the World’s Greatest Shave Event at Palazzo Versace on March 7.

Katie and the Blaze Team have set themselves the goal of reaching $5000 sponsorship.
