One of the sharpest-shooters in the NBL, Harvey is no-doubt the Gold Coast Blaze go-to man. When the game is on the opposition teams will be expecting Harvey to get the ball and the Blaze captain will be calling for it. Electrifies crowds with his unconscious shooting-streaks which see him catch and shoot from almost anywhere on the floor. Runs defenders ragged coming off screens and running cuts in the early stages and then puts them to the sword as they tire.
Won a championship with Perth Wildcats in 1999/2000 and played in six finals series in his time in the west. Surged to his current status as one of the NBL’s premier scorers with the league’s most improved award in 2001 and was named to the All NBL second team in 2007/08 and 2008/09 after joining the Blaze from West Sydney. Played in a losing grand final series with the Razorbacks before relocating to the Gold Coast. In three seasons with the Blaze Harvey as averaged 18.6 ppg while shooting 46% from the field and 43% from beyond the arc.
