SKYCITY 24-Second Fast Break

Terms and Conditions

1.    The SKYCITY 24-Second Interactive Crowd Experience for the SKYCITY Breakers (“Experience”) will run at every SKYCITY Breakers’ game played in Auckland from Friday 28 October 2011 to Thursday 15 March 2012 (“Game”).

2.    The Experience is open to all entrants aged 20 years or over.

3.    To enter the Experience, four entrants will be chosen from the audience before each Game by official SKYCITY Breakers’ assistants (at their sole discretion) (“Entrants”). 

4.    At each Game,

a.     The Entrants will each be invited by the Game host to select a promotional card from one of the SKYCITY Cheer Team members and reveal a potential prize. 

b.    To win the potential prize selected, the Entrants will need to compete in a competition to dribble a basketball from one end of the basketball court to the other and successfully shoot a goal (“Competition”). 

c.     The winner of the Competition will win the potential prize displayed on the promotional card that he/she had previously selected (“Original Prize”).  However, if the winner wins the Competition within 24 seconds, then he/she will get the opportunity to exchange their Original Prize for a mystery alternative prize (“Mystery Prize”). 

d.    Following the Competition, all Entrants (including the winner) will receive a $50 SKYCITY Auckland voucher.

5.    All Original Prizes and Mystery Prizes (together “Prize”) will be subject to particular terms and conditions, which shall be listed on the reverse of the Prize vouchers.

6.    Each Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash and must be redeemed by the date printed on the relevant Prize voucher, subject to availability.  All Prizes are as stated.  SKYCITY reserves the right to withdraw and replace any of the Prize items with an item of approximate value should that Prize item not be available for any reason.

7.    Each winner will receive their Prize on the day of the Experience.

8.    SKYCITY’s decision is final and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.

9.    To the extent permitted by law and subject to obtaining any applicable regulatory approvals, SKYCITY reserves the right to change or cancel the Experience or alter any of these Terms and Conditions without notice.

10.  Neither SKYCITY nor any other person or party associated with the Experience will be liable to any person for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered in connection with participation in the Experience.

11.  Participation in the Experience and/or acceptance of a Prize confirms acceptance to participate in any reasonable publicity or advertising of SKYCITY.

12.  Participation in the Experience implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.  Failure to observe any of these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the Experience.
