23 year old BJ Anthony moves up the ranks, securing a fulltime contract with the SKYCITY Breakers after impressing as a development player last season. A regular in Tall Black teams, BJ brings power and size under the basket.
BJ enjoyed a stellar school career, leading Avondale College to 3rd place at the NZ National Schools Championship and represented NZ at age group level before being called up to the Tall Blacks for the recent FIBA World Championships in Turkey.
A graduate of the successful Breakers Academy, Benny joins the full playing roster after just one season as a Development player in 2010-11. He made some strong showings coming off the bench last season but again will have to work hard to earn court time ahead of Boucher, Vukona and Wilkinson.
