Player Profile

Very much a part of the SKYCITY Breakers last season, filling in briefly for players on short term contracts but staying to scrimmage with the roster for the entire season. He has since won a championship with the Wellington Saints and featured for the Tall Blacks in the recent Oceania series against Australia.

After impressing on the Breakers pre season tour of China in 2010, Leon was called into the team to cover for the absent Kirk Penney at the beginning of last season. Despite only making 3 appearances he did enough to impress the coaching staff and remained a member of the extended training squad for the duration of the 2010-11 season. Leon joins the ten man roster for this season after a successful off season in which he won a NZNBL title with the Wellington Saints.
