A freakish athlete, Vukona does the little things that coaches love. While he won’t light up the stat sheet, Vukona’s ability to defend and rebound is fantastic and his contributions were a major part of the Dragons winning the 2008 NBL Championship. He was a major target of coach Joey Wright and his athleticism alongside Cameron and Petrie is a great fit. Has greatlty improved as a scoring threat, and his recent 25- point outburst against Australia while playing for the Tall Blacks is a career high at any level of the game.
