The 2015 National Basketball League Media Awards are now OPEN with five categories. These awards highlight exceptional reporting on the NBL throughout the 2014/15 Season.
Media are encouraged to nominate for their relevant category as follows:
- Best Feature Article
- Best Photograph
- Best TV Feature
- Best Radio Package
- Best News Story (Any Format)
Coverage from the 2015 NBL Finals may be included.

Entry into the NBL Media Awards signifies acceptance of Terms and Conditions below:
1. Entries should include the entrants name, organisation, publication or program content was broadcast and the date. 2. If sending large files, it is suggested entrants use wetransfer.com or dropbox.com to submit content. 3. The National Basketball League (NBL) accepts no responsibility for errors in submission through any third party service. 4. No entries will be accepted past the deadline of 11:59pm AEDT on Friday 20 March, 2015 under any circumstances. 5. Only content from the 2014/15 National Basketball League season will be accepted. 6. Submitted work must have been published or broadcast between the period of September 1, 2014 and March 20, 2015. 7. Winners will be selected by a panel of NBL representatives at NBL HQ from Monday 23 March, 2015 and notified via phone or email and then promoted on nbl.com.au. 8. There will be ONE winner selected per category and all decisions will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. 9. Any content submitted must be the entrant's own original work. 10. By submitting, an entrant grants the National Basketball League and its related entities a royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish or display of the video/photographs/audio/editorial. This includes commercial purposes and may extend to or involve use by or with one or more third parties. 11. Entry into the NBL Media Awards signifies acceptance of all conditions. 12. All entries will become property of the NBL and will not be returned.
The National Basketball League Pty Ltd has called for applications from working media for accreditation for the 2014/15 NBL Season.
Approval of applications will be at the discretion of the NBL.
All requested fields must be filled in. Applicants are required to nominate their home club and supply a photo.
A reminder – this is the accreditation process for the NBL season only.
The deadline for applications is strictly September 10, 2014.
