It was one of the most momentous days in the history of Australian basketball.
In a major coup, NBL Executive Director Larry Kestelman announced yesterday that a number of NBL clubs have been invited to take part in the upcoming NBA preseason. The Sydney Kings, Melbourne United and Brisbane Bullets will take on the Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns in three groundbreaking games in early October.
The historic three-game series will mark the first time NBL clubs have competed against NBA teams on American soil and will provide an incredible springboard into the #NBL18 season proper.
As always, NBL Media was there to capture all the excitement.
