Townsville Crocodiles head coach Trevor Gleeson has told the Townsville Bulletin he likes what he has seen thus far from new American import guard Will Blalock.

Blalock participated in his first training session in Townsville Monday and some sharp passes from the former Detroit Piston impressed Gleeson.

"The unselfishness and willingness to pass the ball was great," Gleeson told the Bulletin’s Andrew Aloia.

"Yeah, there were a number of good moments when they were making the three or four pass, the pass to the open man, which usually takes a while to make with so many new guys.

"You can understand it with guys who have played before but here we have Will passing to Ben, passing to Crossy and Luke.

"All that willingness to share the ball is what we are going to need to create the chemistry we want to play with. We'll take that and run with it now."
