The Sydney Kings placed forward Graeme Dann on injury waivers on Monday after he reinjured his troublesome ankle.
Dann reinjured his ankle in the Kings’s match against Townsville in Round 10.
The Kings filed an official injury waiver notification with the league office on Monday afternoon but elected not to nominate a Replacement Player to take his place so the club could reinstate him to the line-up as soon as he is judged to be fit.
Initial estimates expected Dann to be out for three to four weeks but his recovery has reportedly been swifter than expected and as a result he could return to the Kings’ line-up sooner than originally forecast.
