A large number of requests are made to the Skytrans Cairns Taipans by community groups, organisations and businesses to have players, coaches and staff appear at special functions and charity events.

The Skytrans Cairns Taipans are 100% committed to providing a positive presence in the local community and we will do our best to meet as many requests as possible.

Official Player Request Procedure:

A formal request must be submitted in writing via the Community Operations Manager, Dwayne Vale, via email.  (dwayne@taipans.com)

All requests must be received at least three weeks or 15 working days prior to the event.

We will endeavour to accommodate your request and find suitable times when possible around practice and playing schedules that meet your requirements.

Please note that even though the upmost efforts will be made, due to the heavy commitments of the NBL season the Skytrans Cairns Taipans unfortunately cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate every appearance request.
