MC & Music
Game nights are always a mix of court noise, crowd contributions and support from the 36ers courtside announcer and game night MC, court announcer and Music Man. This year will be no different!
Meet Jarrod Walsh...Adelaide 36ers MC
Jarrod Walsh is an Adelaide Boy... even though he was born in Victoria, moved to Tasmania, moved to South Australia, moved back to Victoria and then moved back to South Australia... see... Adelaide Boy!!!!
He's 24, tall, skinny, likes wearing hats and usually doesn't wear shoes.
He began life at Nova as a Casanova, where he drove the Sandmans around, until crashing the most important car into some powerlines and almost dying. The bosses didn't trust him driving anymore then, so they chucked him on air and you may have heard him doing mornings on your wireless each week day.
In 2008 he hosted the national drive show The Wrong Way Home with Akmal, Cal and Ed. And learnt a lot of what it was like working with a Jippo, a Kiwi and a tall beefcake who eats a lot of food.
After that experience, and the constant craving of a Vili's pie, Jarrod had to come back to Adelaide and is pumped to be back at the start of 2009 to host the morning show on Nova919 and make less sense every morning from 9-12.
Music Man and Court Announcer
Return Continuing as Music Man at the Adelaide Arena this season is Toby "Skip" Strudwicke. Skip will be throwing in sound bites from your favourite movies and TV shows that will bring smiles and laughs to the 36ers faithful. Skip can also be seen hosting trivia nights at various venues around Adelaide.
Also back for this season is our game announcer Allan Browne. Allan has been court announcer down at Morphett Vale Stadium in the past and continues his crack at the big league. Allan will bring great enthusiasm and excitement to the roll and can't wait to help get the Arena crowd LOUD every game!!!
