The Adelaide 36ers take on the Townsville Crocodiles at 4pm this Sunday at the Adelaide Arena and are looking to take the game to the Crocs, in their third hit-out with them in 19 days.
Adelaide are looking to use the crowd to get behind the team and use the home court to their advantage.
Adelaide 36ers CEO, Leeanne Grantham says that she hopes that Townsville are ready for a vocal crowd this weekend.
“We really want fans to get behind the team and show their support in our clash with the Townsville Crocodiles,”
“Adelaide Arena can be an intimidating place for teams and this Sunday, we want to make it especially loud and daunting for Townsville.”
Nathan Herbert said that it is a tough time for the whole club, but the boys need the fans support and the team are doing everything possible to get the win this weekend.
“The whole team is positive, there are things that we did wrong in the final quarter and we are working on improving them in training,”
“There were a lot of positives in our matches last weekend and we are looking to replicate them and increase the amount of positive things we do and come out with the win.”
Fans are encouraged to get down to the Adelaide Arena on Sunday for the 4pm tip off.
There is a pre-match between the SA Police and the Sudanese Community which begins at 2.05pm and for kids, there will be a Police motorcycle located at
FanZone to have their photo taken on the bike between 2pm-3.15pm.
