In 2010/11 Dorsey helped the Cairns Taipans to the Grand Final, where they were Runners-up to the New Zealand Breakers … Made the most famous shot in Taipans history when he nailed a three to help the Snakes win Game Two of the 2011 Grand Final series ... In 33 games for the Taipans last season, averaged 13.1 points and 4.9 rebounds … Previously played for Etendard de Brest in France’s ProB league and in 15 games averaged 12.6ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.0apg, 1.3spg, shooting 57.3% from the field, 34.7% from the perimeter and 71.4% from the freethrow line ... Left Etendard de Brest  in January 2010, because of injury ... In September 2010 was invited to Training Camp with the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs ...
