Tickets to Melbourne Tigers home games for the 2010/11 NBL season will go on sale on Monday the 13th of September at 9.00am through Ticketmaster.
The Melbourne Tigers are looking to rebound from a disappointing season in 2009/10, and with a fresh squad full of talent 2010 is looming as the ‘Year of the Tiger’!
With the NBL recently completing deals that see the sport back on free-to air television (Network 10), a league wide merchandise deal (And1) and a league wide ball deal (Spalding), it is an exciting time for Australian basketball. We are urging the entire Melbourne basketball community and sports fans around the state to come together and get behind the team!
With strong membership sales and a talented roster including 7’2” Australian Boomer squad member Luke Nevill, returning overseas veteran Wade Helliwell, exciting new imports Eric Devendorf and TJ Campbell alongside the stars of tomorrow in Tommy Greer and Cameron Tragardh, tickets to Tigers games at the ‘The Cage’ are sure to be in high demand.
The Tigers kick off their season at ‘The Cage’ on Friday the 15th of October (tip off 8.00pm) against arch rivals the Sydney Kings who are back in the league after a brief hiatus. The Tigers have 14 home games at ‘The Cage’ including an Australia Day blockbuster against the Kings on Wednesday the 26th January 2011.
