Tickets for the National Basketball League’s official pre-season tournament, the NBL Top End Challenge, which will be held in the Northern Territory from 28 September to 2 October, have gone on sale.
 
The tournament will feature all nine NBL teams as well as local Northern Territory heroes the Darwin Airport Resort All-Stars playing games in Alice Springs and Darwin.

The tournament opens on 28 September with a blockbuster clash in Alice Springs between reigning NBL Champions and regular visitors to the NT, the Perth Wildcats, and their traditional rivals the Adelaide 36ers.

All other games will be played in Darwin at the Marrara Indoor Stadium, with four matches on Thursday 30 September, four more on Friday 1 October and the Finals being held on Saturday 2 October.

Tickets for the Alice Springs match will be sold at the door on the night.
