24 Second Shot Clock | Example II

This is an example of a 24-Second violation. It is a violation when the shot clock signal sounds while the ball is in the air during a field goal attempt and the ball misses the ring. In this example, there is 2 seconds remaining on the shot clock when Orange 0 catches a throw-in from his teammate and shoots the ball. The shot hits the backboard, but misses the ring, and then the shot clock signal sounds before Orange 12 fouls White 10 on the ensuing rebound. This is a 24-Second violation by the Orange team as the ball does not hit the rim after the shot clock signal sounds with the violation happening before the foul.
