After taking control of the ball he tosses it back into court. The ball however goes to the back court where it is first touched by White 43. By rule White team is in control of the ball and White 21 is the last to touch the ball in his front court and White 43 is the first to touch it in the back court. Therefore, this is a returned to the back court violation and a correct call.
