PROUDLY SUPPORTED BY

Tom Tate
Mayor of the Gold Coast
When it comes to attracting the best sports and events on offer, our city’s star is on the rise.Whether it is basketball, horse racing, gymnastics, football or swimming, the City is investing in new facilities and support services to help secure new major events for our annual festival calendar.
The Hungry Jack's NBL Ignite Cup Final fits that bill perfectly - high adrenaline basketball action attracting huge interest across Australia and New Zealand. Having our Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre included as part of the 21-game schedule will deliver a basketball feast for local fans as well as nationally televised promotion for our city. Over the next seven years, the Gold Coast will reshape and refocus its efforts in the lead-up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympics and Paralympics.
For now, it’s showtime on the GC and I wish all teams success in the Hungry Jack’s NBL Ignite Cup Final. Leave it all on the court.
