Hungry Jack's NBL27 Schedule: By The Numbers

The Hungry Jack’s NBL27 Season is fast approaching, following Friday’s official reveal of a bumper schedule.

While there will no doubt be countless storylines leading into and during the 2026–27 campaign, just like the record-breaking NBL26 season, the schedule can also be broken down into numerous key figures.

First and foremost, the upcoming season will feature the equal-most games in NBL history (165), with each club hitting the hardwood a minimum of 33 times across the 21 rounds.

To tip-off the season, the 10-team competition will have 13 games across the opening nine days of the schedule, to ensure the NBL once again hits the ground running.

A number of those 13 fixtures will be part of the 42 blockbusters scheduled to air on the competition’s new free-to-air partner, the Nine Network.

The jam-packed schedule also includes 20 Ignite Cup fixtures to electrify Wednesday nights, starting with New Zealand’s fixture with Tasmania on September 30.

Once again, Sydney will host NSW rivals Illawarra on December 25 at Qudos Bank Arena, which will headline the competition’s 12 Days of Christmas.

Following the festive season, both the NBL and WNBL will head to Perth, which will see 10 games played across five days at HoopsFest - in the biggest-ever version of the hoops extravaganza.

Finally, there will be three mouthwatering Championship Series rematches between the Kings and 36ers, with the first being on Sunday, October 11, at Qudos Bank Arena.
