This is an example of basket interference for the defensive player grasping the basket/net. A defensive player may not grasp the net in such a way that in the judgement of the official the ball was prevented from entering the basket.

In this example White 55 jumps to attempt to block the shot of Red 11. In an attempt to block the shot White 55 grabs the net with his right hand and in the judgement of the official prevents the ball from entering.
