The Brisbane Bullets have reportedly added more firepower to their backcourt by signing shooting guard Dakota Mathias.

According to ESPN's Olgun Uluc, the Bullets have penned a one-year deal with the 6'4 American, who will replace the recently released Javon Liberty-Freeman.

The University of Purdue alum last played for the Indiana Mad Ants (now the Noblesville Boom) in the NBA G-League, averaging 17.9 points (including 38.7 from downtown), 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

The Bullets next face New Zealand at Spark Arena on Thursday night as part of the Hungry Jack's NBL26 Indigenous Round.

The Round 6 fixture tips off at 5.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
