The NBL Next Stars are adidas Eurocamp champions.

Led by a standout performance from Max Mackinnon, the Next Stars team defeated Eurocamp 1 66-62 in a hard-fought final in Treviso, Italy, holding their nerve in a tight contest to claim the title at the prestigious international pre-NBA Draft showcase.

It was a scrappy, physical contest, but the Next Stars showed great maturity to see it out when it mattered.

Particularly Mackinnon, who hit big shots in big moments to steer his side to victory.

Mackinnon, who was later named Eurocamp Finals MVP, finished with 21 points on 8/14 shooting, including 3/6 from three.

Oscar Cluff was also influential in the final, recording 6 points and 12 rebounds, while Dash Daniels posted 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, and Malique Lewis had 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

Following the final, Lewis was named to the All-Eurocamp Team for the second consecutive year and Daniels was recognised as the camp's Best Defender.

For Eurocamp 1, David Torresani led with 12 points on 5/9 shooting, while French prospect Mohamed Diakite was a consistent presence with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks across 24 minutes.

Lithuanian Arturas Butajevas added 8 points and 7 rebounds.

The championship caps an unbeaten three-game run through the 2026 adidas Eurocamp for the Next Stars team, after falling short in the final at last year's event.

The Next Stars program, which has now produced 11 NBA Draft picks including six first-rounders across the past six drafts, continues to demonstrate its value as one of the world's premier development pathways for young basketball talent.
