Before you start tipping, make sure you understand how the competition works.
1. Picking Winners
- You must select the team you believe will win each NBL game in a round.
- A correct tip earns you 1 point (unless your competition has custom scoring set by the organiser).
- If the game goes to overtime, the final result after overtime determines the winning tip.
2. Tip Deadlines
- All tips must be submitted 1 hour before tip-off of each individual game.
- Once a game has started, your tip for that match is locked and cannot be changed.
- If you do not submit a tip before tip-off, you will receive zero points for that game (unless your competition uses an automatic selection rule).
3. Round Tipping
- Tipping runs across the NBL regular season and Finals.
- Each round includes all scheduled NBL games within that round.
- Finals games are tipped in the same way as regular season games.
4. Leaderboard Rankings
- Participants are ranked by total points earned.
- If two or more participants are tied on points, ranking may be decided by:
- Total correct tips
- Margin predictions (if enabled)
- Or shared position (depending on competition settings)
5. Changing Your Tips
- You can update your selections as many times as you like before tip-off.
- Always double-check your tips are saved before the game begins.
6. Winning the Competition
- The participant with the highest total points at the end of the season is declared the winner.
- Prizes (if any) are determined by the competition organiser.
