BREAKING: Adelaide, import part ways

The Adelaide 36ers the Troy Brown Jr have come to a mutual agreement for the 26-year-old to depart the club.

“Troy Brown Jr has advised the Adelaide 36ers of his desire to return home to the United Sates of America for personal reasons,” the club said in a statement on Monday.

Brown Jr averaged 4.6 points and 4.5 rebounds across 13 appearances for the 36ers.

General Manager of Basketball Operations Matt Weston thanked Brown for his time in Adelaide.

“Troy has been nothing but professional since arriving in November but we respect his want to head home and thank him for what he brought to our group,” Weston told the club's website.

“We will move quickly to find a suitable replacement for the remainder of the season.”

The club said it hoped to sign a replacement player in the coming days.
