The Brisbane Bullets have locked away a key piece to their NBL27 puzzle by announcing the signing of Nate Hinton, who arrives at the club fresh off an outstanding campaign with the Memphis Hustle.

The 27-year-old wing arrives highly regarded as someone who can produce on both ends of the floor, having averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and almost three steals per game.

“I am excited for our fans to enjoy the relentless energy Nate brings every time he steps on the floor,” Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations, Will Weaver said.

“Where Nate goes, wins follow and I believe he is primed for a career year.

“Like Arnas Veliçka, he believes Brisbane is the right place for him to get to the very top, and that's exactly the type of ambitious competitor we want in our program.”

Hinton also recently completed a season in Germany, but has a strong NBA resume which includes stints at the Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets.

"I'm excited to be joining Brisbane and competing in one of the best leagues outside the NBA," he said.

"Everything I know about Coach Weaver, the organisation and the direction of the club made this an opportunity I wanted to be part of.

"I'll bring energy, toughness and a team-first mentality every time I step on the floor. I want to help build a team that our members and fans are proud to get behind."

Hinton joins the current team of Veliçka, Mitch Norton, Taine Murray, Sam McDaniel, Lat Mayen, Harry Rouhliadeff, Tyrell Harrison and Jacob Holt.

The Brisbane Bullets have one import and one local spot to complete their roster.
