Six-time MVP Bryce Cotton has made no secret of how much he enjoys playing against the Cairns Taipans, and his 50-point game early last season was the perfect example.

He has named Cairns as his favourite road trip, averages 25 points per game against the Taipans and has scored more than 40 against them on four separate occasions.

Add the fact that his foul on Elijah Pepper ended the Taipans' chance to win in Perth, and he will be highly motivated.

Former stars return

Jack McVeigh and Keanu Pinder both began their NBL careers at the Adelaide 36ers, and both struggled to crack the rotation during their time there.

Since moving on, they have become two of the best local big men in the competition, and putting on a show back in Adelaide would be especially satisfying for the Taipans duo.
