303 days between games, Keli Leaupepe made a huge step in his recovery from an ACL injury on Saturday night in the NBL1.

Leaupepe hurt his right knee at the CODE Sports NBL Blitz way back on August 28, 2025, so it’s fair to say it’s been a long and patient wait for the Sydney Kings star.

Lining up for the Knox Raiders, he stepped onto the court for close to 18 minutes, finishing with 13 points.

After missing the entirety of the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 Season, it was a massive step in the right direction for the 26-year-old.

Leaupepe signed a new deal with the Kings in April, typing to the club until the end of the NBL28 campaign.
