The Sydney Kings will be without defensive wing Bul Kuol (knee) for their next two matches against Cairns and Illawarra.

The Sydney Kings have received a blow on the eve of their Round 13 clash with the Cairns Taipans.

Defensive wing Bul Kuol, who has been pivotal in the Kings' three-game win streak, has been ruled out for Sunday's clash with his former team at Qudos Bank Arena due to a knee injury.

Kuol will be replaced by youngster Lueth Awan in Brian Goorjian's squad for Sunday's fixture.
