Forward Finn Delany will return to Melbourne's lineup against Cairns on Wednesday, following a two-game absence.

Melbourne United has received a massive boost ahead of Wednesday night's NBL Ignite Cup game with Cairns.

Forward Finn Delany, who has missed United's past two fixtures, will return to Dean Vickerman's lineup following the birth of his daughter.

Delany has started every game he has played in during the Hungry Jack's NBL26 season, and is averaging career highs in assists (2.1), offensive rebounds (1.9), steals (0.9) and free throw percentage (85.7).
