South East Melbourne have reportedly re-signed young forward Akech Aliir on a multi-year deal.

South East Melbourne continues to solidify their local core by reportedly re-signing another rising talent.
According to CODE Sports, the Phoenix have re-signed forward Akech Aliir on a two-year deal.
The 25-year-old, who has played two seasons in the Hungry Jack’s NBL for both Melbourne United and the Phoenix, developed into a key piece off the bench for Josh King’s side during the 2025-26 campaign.
This reported signing sees Aliir join Nathan Sobey, Jordi Hunter, Angus Glover, Owen Foxwell, Tanner Krebs, Hunter Goodrick and Ellis Biggar on Josh King’s side for next season.
