Ignite Cup standings: JackJumpers continue Grand Final push

The Tasmania JackJumpers have kept themselves in the mix for the inaugural NBL Ignite Cup Grand Final by defeating South East Melbourne.
There are just nine games left in the inaugural Hungry Jack’s Ignite Cup, presented by Disney+, with all roads leading to Gold Coast on the 22nd of February and a chance to compete for $400,000.
While every game of the in-season tournament also counts towards the regular season standings, the New Zealand Breakers sit top of the separate Ignite Cup ladder and look well placed to book their ticket to the big game. The one-off final will not count towards the regular season standings.
The Breakers have 18 points from their three games played, with an undefeated record thus far, where teams are rewarded with one point for every quarter won and three for the winning team.
Four other teams join the Breakers, having completed three of their four total games, with the Sydney Kings the only team who have been officially eliminated from the final with just four points from their three games.
The South East Melbourne Phoenix had their first Ignite Cup game on Wednesday night, where they fell short to Tasmania. The Adelaide 36ers and Cairns Taipans are the other two teams who still have three games to play for a chance to make their way to the final.
Fans can now secure tickets for the final that will be played at the Gold Coast Entertainment Centre on the 22nd of February, where one team will win $300,000 and the runner-up awarded $100,000. It is the largest prize pool in NBL history.
