Former New Zealand Breakers Next Star Ousmane Dieng has agreed to a new deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Selected with the 11th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Dieng spent the early years of his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder, before being traded to Milwaukee last season.
A strong finish to the campaign has reportedly earned the French wing a new three-year, $17.5 million ($26.8 million AUD) contract to remain with the Bucks, who are looking to the future following the departure of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
It has been a promising start to Dieng’s NBA career. He won the G League championship in 2024, earning Finals MVP honours, before capping off the season by winning an NBA championship with the Thunder.
