Point guard Brandon Knight has been ruled out of the Brisbane Entertainment Centre due to soreness, with Development Player Tana Kopa replacing him in the squad.

NBA talent Knight will be re-evaluated before the Wildcats’ November 8 game at RAC Arena against Cairns.

Knight joins Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. (calf), Blake Nielsen (ACL) and Jimmy Whitt (personal reasons) on the sidelines for Perth.

Despite still sitting in third, this Round 8 fixture looms crucial for John Rillie’s side after back-to-back losses to Sydney and Illawarra.

The fixture, which also marks Jesse Wagstaff’s 550th in the NBL, tips off at 8pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
