Sydney's Brian Goorjian has won a record seventh Lindsay Gaze Trophy.
The incredible resume of basketball legend Brian Goorjian continues to grow after the Sydney Kings mentor won his record NBL Coach of the Year award on Monday night.
In front of a star-studded Crown Ballroom, Goorjian, who guided his Kings to a league-best 24-9 record, was presented with the prestigious Lindsay Gaze Trophy.
Prior to this season, the six-time NBL champion has won this honour in 1992, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2008 and 2009.

He also holds the all-time games coached record at 866, which includes winning at a 68.5 per cent clip.
The NBL26 Finals tip off on Wednesday, March 4, with the Seeding Qualifier between South East Melbourne and Perth at John Cain Arena from 7.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
