'He could drop 50': NBL champion's Cotton warning

Two-time NBL champion Lanard Copeland believes Bryce Cotton will 'go crazy' in his first match-up with former side Perth.
It's a game Bryce Cotton has had circled since his high-profile move from Perth to Adelaide.
The five-time MVP will finally face the club where he won three championships, with the long-awaited matchup set for Sunday at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
One man who's followed Cotton's entire journey in the NBL is two-time NBL champion Lanard Copeland, who knows how big this clash between two arch rivals will be.
“He’s going to try to go crazy and his team is going to help him,” Copeland told The West Australian.
“The players and coaches are listening to the media and Bryce is going to try to drop big numbers. The team will have his back. He’ll want to make a statement. I would not be surprised if he dropped 50.
“One thing is for sure, do not add fuel to his fire. If you add fuel to his fire, that fire will explode.”
Cotton, who is averaging a career-high 28.8 points, 6.2 assists and 2.4 steals in his first season with the 36ers, and his Adelaide side host Perth from 2.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN and Channel 10.
