“The energy fans bring to HoopsFest is what makes it so special, and the Bounce Nation Fan Zone is where that energy comes to life in the middle of Perth," said Alex Hamilton, NBL Chief Product Officer.

"We’re excited and grateful to be partnering with the City of Perth again, and we’d love every fan to make Forrest Place a key stop during HoopsFest.”

Perfectly positioned in the heart of Perth, the Bounce Nation Fan Zone will deliver an energetic mix of live entertainment, interactive activations, competitions and player appearances.

A pop-up half court will anchor the space, hosting open shoot-arounds, skill sessions, competitions, DJs, food trucks, giveaways, merchandise, sponsor activations and family-friendly activities. The Fan Zone is completely free and open to everyone.

Curtin University has also been announced as a major partner of HoopsFest, bringing its commitment to inspiring the next generation.

Curtin University Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Matthew Tonts, said the partnership was an opportunity to connect with young people through their passions and inspire them to explore new possibilities.

“Basketball has a great way of bringing people together, and HoopsFest is a fantastic example of that,” Professor Tonts said.

"We’re excited to be part of an event that brings so much energy to Perth and gives people of all ages the chance to get involved.

“We’re looking forward to working with the NBL to create some great experiences for fans and give our students opportunities to be part of the action.”
