Keep tabs on how the stars of NBL26/27 are faring during the off-season, with our weekly off-season wrap, covering action from the local NBL1 competition to all corners of the globe.

With the 2026 NBL1 season underway, there were a number of massive performance, including Illawarra’s Todd Blanchfield (29 points and 15 rebounds for the Illawarra Hawks) and Harry Froling (averaged 34.5 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds for Dandenong), Adelaide’s Isaac White (34 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals for Rockingham) and Melbourne’s Fabijan Krslovisc (averaged 15 points and 14.5 rebounds for Norths).

Overseas, Perth’s Elijah Pepper went off in his Wellington NZNBL debut, to the tune of 28 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds, while Illawarra’s QJ Peterson averaged an incredible 44 points across his past two games in China.

NBL1
Isaac White
wasted no time picking up where he left off for Rockingham in his season debut on Friday. The guard tallied 34 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals in the Flames’ 116-81 NBL1 West fixture.

Fellow Sixers Blake Jones (25 points and 21 rebounds) and Michael Harris (20 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 6 steals) also dominated for Rockingham.

Brothers Magok (29 points and 11 rebounds) and Deng Manyang (14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals) both shone for Central Districts in their 97-83 loss to Woodville.

Young gun Che Brogan put up (13 points, 10 assists, 6 steals and 2 rebounds) to steer the Southern Tigers to a 96-93 win over the Eastern Mavericks.

Finally, in great news for all hoops fans, Ben Griscti double-doubled (14 points and 13 rebounds) in his return to the court following a neck injury, as Nunawading defeated Ringwood 98-77.

OVERSEAS
Keanu Rasmussen
made an immediate impact in his debut for the Hawks in the NZNBL, finishing with 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.

NBL1
Knox’s Tad Dufelmeier had a strong weekend, posting 15 points and 10 assists versus Dandenong and then 14 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals in Bendigo, while Jack Purchase contributed 14 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks for Melbourne against Ballarat.

OVERSEAS
Hunter Maldonado
continued his dominant form in Taiwan with 21 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds in his latest outing.

Taine Murray starred in his NZNBL debut for the Whai, erupting for 30 points and knocking down seven threes in their win over the Hawks.

Tohi Smith-Milner also impressed with 17 points and 9 rebounds in his season debut for the Nelson Giants.

NBL1
Sharpshooter Reyne Smith continued his strong NBL1 East season against both Sutherland (27 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 rebound) and Inner West Bulls (24 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks).

Teammates Lloyd McVeigh (21 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals) and Lachie Barker (23 pts, 8 rebounds and 4 assists) also shone for South Adelaide and Geelong, respectively.

OVERSEAS
Kyle Adnam
posted 21 points and 8 assists in his season debut for the Hawks in the NZNBL.

Kyrin Galloway dominated in Korea with 21 points and 14 rebounds in his latest appearance.

Jack McVeigh and Sam Waardenburg continued their strong form in Puerto Rico, with McVeigh tallying 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Waardenburg added 22 points and 9 rebounds.

NBL1
Reigning East MVP Todd Blanchfield did all he could (29 points and 15 rebounds), but the Hawks went down 105-95 to champions Canberra.

Big man Harry Froling dominated for Dandenong, averaging 34.5 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds against Knox and Eltham, while guard Biwali Bayles went off for 33 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists for Bendigo in their win over Knox.

Finally, Jonah Antonio had 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for East Perth.

OVERSEAS
Dan Grida
delivered a huge debut for the Hawke’s Bay Hawks in the NZNBL, recording 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists in the loss to the Whai.

QJ Peterson exploded for 44 points in a shootout against Tyler Harvey, but Harvey’s side came away with the win as he contributed 14 points.

Fabijan Krslovic
tallied two more double-doubles (15 points and 16 rebounds versus Bankstown and 16 points and 13 boards against Albury) in a pair of Norths wins, while Tanner Krebs (9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists) and Tom Wilson (13 points, 7 assists and 5 steals) were solid for both Casey and Melbourne.

OVERSEAS
Milton Doyle finished with 9 points and 3 assists in Napoli’s latest win.

Jack Andrew
posted 20 points and 9 rebounds, while Taylor Britt had 23 points and 9 assists in the Rams’ win over Alex McNaught and the Giants.

Sean Bairstow (16 points, 6 rebounds) and Rob Loe (24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists) combined in a 20-point win over the Franklin Bulls.

Reuben Te Rangi exploded for 35 points and 7 rebounds in his Whai debut, while Carlin Davison flirted with a triple-double in the Wellington Saints’ dominant win over the Jets, finishing with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists.

He’s been in elite form, averaging 20.7 points, 10.3 assists, and 5 rebounds across his last three games.

NBL1
It was a case of another game, another huge performance by David Okwera, who’s 26 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks powered East Perth to a 94-75 win over Warwick.

Not to be outdone, Lat Mayen produced 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Eagles, while Cam Huefner (29 points and 9 rebounds) led the way for Perry Lakes.

OVERSEAS
Kristian Doolittle
recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds in Puerto Rico.

Elijah Pepper stuffed the stat sheet with 28 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals in the NZNBL, going head-to-head with teammate Dontae Russo-Nance (13 points, 6 assists), as Pepper’s Wellington Saints cruised to a 117-81 win over the Jets.

Luke Rosendale
had a weekend to remember for Hobart, averaging 25 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2 steals against Kilsyth and Waverley.

Fellow Phoenix teammates Jordi Hunter (17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds average for Knox), Daniel Foster (26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals for Keilor) and Patrick Ryan (14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist for Casey) were all solid for their respective clubs.

Akech Aliir
finished with 11 points and 7 rebounds in his debut win with the Wellington Saints.

John Brown III continued his defensive dominance in Puerto Rico, filling the stat sheet with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals in a win over Bayamon.

DJ Mitchell has started strongly in the UK with Manchester, averaging 14 points and 8.5 rebounds through his first two games.

In his first game back in Sutherland colours, Jason Spurgin (22 points and 14 rebounds) helped the Sharks fight back and defeat Maitland, while Lachie Dent had 22 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals for Ballarat.

scored 10 points in Pallacanestro Trieste’s latest win in Italy.
