Talking points
New faces in Brisbane
Former NBA G League Champion Terry Taylor will make his first appearance in the NBL, replacing the injured Casey Prather.
The 6'4" forward most recently played with the Stockton Kings, where he averaged 16.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists last season.
"Terry is tough, selfless and plays with a competitiveness," coach Stu Lash said.
"We believe he complements our group and will make us even harder to play against."
Time to rock, DJ
DJ Vasiljevic responded to his critics in the best way possible against the Phoenix a fortnight ago, knocking down 17 final quarter points.
It was a timely reminder of just how big an impact the 28-year-old can have, even if he hasn't quite hit his straps so far this year.
While the Bullets will no doubt pile attention on Bryce Cotton, who's had 36+ points in the last two meetings between the sides, Vasiljevic could be the real danger man on the night.
What they're saying
Adelaide coach Mike Wells on the Bullets' talent:
"They have a very talented group. We haven't seen them play together as a team, but we know their talent individually. We know how hard they'll play.
"We know there are some characteristics with their personnel that we'll be able to identify, and then we'll just have to kind of play the game like at the beginning. But we have a ton of respect for them and who they are and how they've been playing, and we also know the talent they've added to their group."
Brisbane's Taine Murray on the 36ers:
"Obviously the nice thing is we've already played them before, which makes it easier with knowing their guys and different things, and obviously Bryce Cotton will always be a big focal point.
"Just trying to contain him and Isaac Humphries, who has been playing really well ... just trying to control those two will be a big focus." - via SENQ
