Ignite Cup Final a sell-out

The inaugural Hungry Jack’s NBL Ignite Cup Final, presented by Disney+, has officially sold out with 5,000 fans flocking to the Gold Coast to see whether Adelaide or New Zealand will take home the lion's share of $400k. 

The capacity crowd at the Convention and Exhibition Centre marks a major milestone for the NBL's first ever in-season tournament.

“The demand for tickets highlights the momentum and excitement surrounding the Ignite Cup and level of interest in the final game. We're looking forward to creating an incredible atmosphere and an unforgettable end to what's been a successful additon to our season,” NBL Chief Product Officer,  Alex Hamilton said. 

The Final, in partnership with Experience Gold Coast, promises to deliver high-energy basketball, elite talent and a vibrant game-day experience, when the 36ers and Breakers go head-to-head with the winner taking home $300,000 and the loser $100,000. 

"The Ignite Cup has captured the imagination of fans with strong audiences and competitive matchups throughout the tournament, all building towards Sunday's decider," Hamilton added.

The Ignite Cup Final will take place on Sunday, February 22 and will be broadcast live on ESPN via Disney+, and Channel 10 (Drama) from 4.30pm AEDT.
