Kings champion hits stunning USA game-winner

He’s a veteran of over 500 NBA games and an NBL champion, but Torrey Craig now has another big achievement to his name, with a game-winning shot for the USA in World Cup Qualifiers.

The Sydney Kings star was one of four players with NBL experience lining up for the Americans against the Dominican Republic.

USA were behind by two points with 20 seconds remaining, before Craig came up with the biggest play of the night.

A massive three from the corner put his team up by a point, a lead they held on to go 4-1 in the Americas Qualifiers group.

Craig was joined by Pedro Bradshaw, Terry Taylor and Izaiah Brockington in the USA team.

Craig re-signed with the Kings in June, after helping them claim the trophy as the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 champions.
