Will Magnay marked his 100th game for the Tasmania JackJumpers in fitting style, producing a powerful performance in Thursday night's win over Melbourne United before declaring he will never play for another NBL club.

The second-year captain and NBL24 championship-winning centre has found a home in Tasmania, and as he prepares to face the Brisbane Bullets on Saturday night, he has made it clear that isn't going to change.

His actions backed up his words. Magnay put his body on the line all night in the 84-82 victory, a physical and eventful contest, as clashes between the two sides always seem to be.

He was at his best when it mattered most, making six clutch free throws and two massive blocks in the fourth quarter alone. He finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three blocks, going 12/14 from the line.

He also knocked down his first three-pointer of the season, his first make from beyond the arc since January 3, also against Melbourne.

The milestone gave the Paris Olympian a chance to reflect on how grateful he is for the home he's found with the JackJumpers.

"It's been an interesting one, and I guess the only thing that's been steady through it all is this club and the people around me," Magnay said.

"I wouldn't be where I am without Rat (Mark Radford), Weeksy (Jarrad Weeks), Nate (Brereton) and obviously Scott (Roth). You break your foot two years in a row and the club says, 'Here's a contract.'

"They wanted me back, and the belief they have in me to come back, grow and be a big part of this team is huge.

"I'm forever grateful for every opportunity I've had here and every teammate I've had so far. We pretty much have a no-d*head policy, and I'm so grateful for that.

"I just love coming to work, and that'll never change. I'll never play anywhere else in the NBL. This is my home and this is my club, and if I'm ever anywhere else, it'll be overseas.

"I've loved every moment and every challenge of being here, through the ups and downs. I just plant my feet and I'm grateful I can be out there running around."
