Torrey Craig’s experience shapes Sydney’s push to respond in a decisive Game 5 against Adelaide.

Torrey Craig has been here before. With 80 NBA Playoff games and a Finals Series run with Phoenix behind him, the Sydney Kings veteran understands exactly what’s required on the biggest stage.

The missed free throw in Wednesday night’s loss to Adelaide still stings, but Craig’s experience is built on responding in moments like this.

Now, the 35-year-old is focused on guiding his teammates as Sydney prepares for a winner-takes-all Game 5.

“At this time of the year, every possession matters,” Craig told CODE Sports.

“I think they (Adelaide) did a better job at taking care of the ball in Game 4 and we had some turnovers, myself included … we’ve got to be conscious of that and we’ll be better.”

Craig looms as a potential Game 5 x-factor at Qudos Bank Arena, having already stamped his influence across the opening two games of the Series.

He threatened to be the difference in Adelaide before Bryce Cotton’s late-game heroics turned the tide.

After quieter outings in Games 3 and 4, he now has the chance to step back into the spotlight when it matters most.

“You want to take advantage of these moments because you’ll never know when you’ll play with these guys again,” he said.

And Craig’s message to his teammates is simple.

“Just to leave it all out there,” he added.

Sydney hosts Adelaide in Game 5 on Sunday at Qudos Bank Arena from 2:30pm AEST, live on ESPN and 10.
