The Australian Boomers will head to Tasmania for the first time since 2006 as they tip off their qualifying campaign for the 2027 FIBA World Cup.
Australia will take on the New Zealand Tall Blacks at MyState Bank Arena on Friday, November 28.
“Tasmania is a special place, and the fans have gone to another level in embracing the game here,” JackJumpers and Boomers star Will Magnay said.
“I feel lucky to be a part of the momentum over the last few years with the Jackies, and now with an opportunity to represent as an Australian Boomer. The game in November against the Tall Blacks will be the first challenge in the World Cup run, and we will be ready to meet it.”
The JackJumpers have sold out every one of their home games during their five seasons in the NBL, with an incredible atmosphere set to welcome both teams at MyState Bank Arena in November.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, October 15, from 1 pm AEDT via Ticketek.
