Talking points

Breakers' balanced attack
New Zealand secured one of their best wins of the season on Wednesday night, beating the Sydney Kings in Hamilton.

While Parker Jackson-Cartwright was the hero late, he was just one of five starters to score in double-digits for Petteri Koponen's side.

If they can get that sort of balanced production, especially from rising NBL Next Star Karim Lopez, the Breakers will be very tough to handle.

Road warriors
During the NBL26 Season, the JackJumpers have been much more consistent on the road (4-3), compared to in Tasmania (2-6).

And with the majority of his squad back on deck, including Will Magnay and David Johnson, Scott Roth's side appear set to go on a run and push for a spot in the post-season.

If Bryce Hamilton (19.3 points a game) can continue his All-NBL campaign, things are looking ever brighter.

What they're saying

Breakers star Parker Jackson-Cartwright on producing at home:
"We know how important these [home] games are.

"Every time you play a good team, you have to be extremely focused and keep fighting. We went down [against Sydney], but we didn't waver, we just kept competing.

"That's a big testament to how we've grown from the start of the season."

Tasmania coach Scott Roth on building on their last win:
“One game did not solve everything, but it gives you a glimpse of what we thought the roster might look like moving into the season.

“We will take it and build off the last few games. We have had really good moments, we just had a bunch of lapses."
