Sydney's momentum swing
‍Sydney got two big wins last round, including inflicting the first defeat on Melbourne United on Monday night.

The way the Kings played in both of those games is exactly why many predicted them to be a leading contender in NBL26, with Kendric Davis and Xavier Cooks looking unstoppable.

Bul Kuol also had his best game in the purple and gold and proved just how important he is to their success.

Fourth-quarter fallout
‍The Breakers had every chance to win that game against Adelaide, until they managed to score just one point in the first six minutes of the final quarter.

When the game was there to be won, they simply couldn’t find a way to put the ball in the basket.

While they fought back hard to almost pull off a miraculous win, they ultimately fell short.

Kings guard Kendric Davis on carrying his team's momentum forward:
"It was good to get those two wins and we're excited for the future, but we know we need to get better.

"We're nowhere near where we want to be as a group, which is the exciting part.

"We'll just continue to put the work and hours in, stacking days and be the best versions of ourselves come February and March."

Breakers guard Izaiah Brockington on taking on superstar Kendric Davis:
"I'm definitely [looking forward to the matchup with Kendric], I I take pride in that.
