Aussies Abroad: Boomer on the move again

Australian Boomer Josh Green has reportedly been traded for the second time in as many months, moving from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Utah Jazz.

ESPN's Shams Charania reported the Jazz had acquired Green and cash from the Timberwolves, with Cody Williams and John Konchar heading back the other way.

"They (Minnesota) found a home for Josh Green on a Jazz team that wanted an additional 3-and-D wing," Charania said via X.

"Moving his $14.7 million (AU$20.5 million) deal gives Minnesota the salary space to sign Jonathan Kuminga using the taxpayer midlevel exception."

Green's role shrank dramatically last season at Charlotte, with his scoring (4.3 ppg) and rebounding (1.8 rpg) sliding as his minutes dropped to 15.7 per game — down from 27.8 the year prior.
