WATCH: Webster goes off against Phoenix Suns

Three-time NBL champion Corey Webster will forever be remembered as one of the greatest players in New Zealand Breakers history and one of the finest to represent the New Zealand national team.

One of his most memorable performances came in 2018 during the Breakers' tour of the United States.

As part of the NBAxNBL pre-season series, the Breakers took on the Phoenix Suns, led by No. 1 overall draft pick DeAndre Ayton.

Although thePhoenix escaped with a 91-86 victory, Webster nearly inspired a stunning upset, pouring in 27 points to keep the Breakers within striking distance.

He also finished with seven assists and knocked down four three-pointers in a performance that turned plenty of heads.

The Breakers squad also featured Tom Abercrombie, Shea Ili, Finn Delany, Tai Wesley and Shawn Long.
