"Best team I've ever seen": Grace

Two-time Grand Final MVP Rick Grace has labelled this season's Melbourne United side the 'best he's seen in the NBL'.
Ahead of their Round 7 double-header, one NBL legend has heaped huge praise on the unbeaten Melbourne United.
During Wednesday's episode of NBL Now, four-time NBL champion Ricky Grace labelled Dean Vickerman's squad the best he had seen in the NBL.
"I'm not a betting man, but for the first time, I almost went in my wallet and put some money on Melbourne United to win this whole thing," Grace said.
"They are possibly the best team I've ever seen in the NBL."
Backing up Grace's statement are the statistics, with United currently possessing a phenomenal +22.6 net rating, which is 13 points higher than second-placed Adelaide.
This year's United team have also drawn comparisons to Melbourne's 2015-16 side, who started the season with a 9-0 run before coincidentally losing to Cairns 82-70, who the team play on Friday.
Fellow NBL legend Chris Anstey echoed the huge praise for the 7-0 United during Friday's episode of NBL Now.
"I heard Ricky Grace mention the United team might be the best team ever put on an NBL floor. I'm not prepared to go that far, but they're certainly one of the most balanced," two-time NBL MVP Chris Anstey said.
"They're certainly one of the deepest and if you took the role of their ninth or 10th guy and matched that up historically, that would probably go close in that regard.
"[To truly test that though] they need to get a little bit uncomfortable, be challenged, and find some answers to questions they don't know need answering just yet."
Anstey sentiments about the team being extremely balanced are correct, with there currently being five players averaging more than 12 points a game, including Chris Goulding (20.3), Milton Doyle (14.6), Tyson Walker (13.4), Jesse Edwards (13) and Tanner Krebs (12.3).
Friday's Indigenous Round fixture between United and the Taipans tips off at 7.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
